Tree massacre

We have been busy cutting down dead trees that were killed during the great drought of 2007.

Dan and Rich took down 11 trees over the weekend, and they are already burned up and gone! I love it! Richard is looking like a teenager, huh? He learned to use the chainsaw and is quite proud about it.

Today I am at the library while Richard is hopefully completing some research for a school project.

Before leaving the house, we had an argument.. correction... HE had an argument about putting SHOES on to go to the library!

The kid's eyeballs were about to pop out of his head! I don't understand why putting on shoes is so hard. Anyway, we are here and he has shoes on, I think. :)
